Currumbin Valley Morning

Oil Painting on double thick canvas

This is one of the many picturesque scenes that greet me on my morning drive through Currumbin Valley. When the Jacarandas are in flower is my favourite time of year for this property entrance. The spent flowers fall like purple snow on the driveway and the filtered sun beautifully highlights the bright green grass in slithers. A delightful reminder of how lucky we are to live in the valley. I often slow down here on my drive into town, not just because I want for a moment to embrace the incredible beauty but to also allow the majestic wild peacocks to safely cross the road.

Size: 61 × 61 cm
