Fleetingness
oil
Fleetingness- A constant fascination with the Australian landscape and it's shifting light is the main inspiration for my work. An added interest is the changing of familiar places with weather events creating landslips and breakaway outcrop with the heavy rainfall, reminding me of the fleetingness in which things remain the same.

About rose knight
"To me, art is only ever the final result of a certain emotion asking to be heard." Our life experiences shade and colour our view of the world and how we perceive it… it varies from one experience/mind to the other. Hopefully, through art we can construct a language understood by many no matter how many tongues it traverses.”
Originally from Victoria, Rose now resides in Far North Queensland. She has been a finalist in the prestigious Pro Hart Outback Art Prize, Glover Prize, John Villiers Art Prize , Soho Art Prize, and The Doyles Art Prizes
