Foreshore

acrylic on synthetic paper

Foreshore is an expression of nature's mysteries. If you look closer you may see animals resting. They might be cows, sheep or birds and like all my paintings appear unexpectedly. I don't seek to represent what is before me but rather work with colour and implied texture in an experimental way to create an emotional response.

Size: 66 × 96 cm

About Lyne Marshall

My connection with the land is interwoven with the rise and fall of emotions that permeate daily life. Within the layers of a painting worked from experimental methods there is often an unexpected outcome where past experiences merge into a magical time and place. I am seeking an emotional response, a deeper connection when I creating, that goes past time or location and is a rather a response to an enduring memory.
