Some years ago, my husband and I had a couple of nights on the Freycinet Peninsula. The locally-owned brigantine sailing rig, "Windeward Bound", was coming into the bay opposite the lighthouse. While it wasn't actually under sail, it was still an amazing sight and inspired my painting done in gouache on a recycled piano key.
