Through colourful compositions of the figure, interiors and fruit, I explore the rhythms of geometry and the dance of colour relationships, seeking to capture a world alive with warmth, light, and abundance.

About Olga Bakhtina
Olga Bakhtina is a Brisbane-based artist whose evocative oil and charcoal works blend classical influence with contemporary narrative. Born in Russia and shaped across three continents, her practice reflects a deep engagement with art history, particularly the Early Renaissance, and a sensitivity to symbolism and emotional nuance. She began her artistic training in Oman and completed a degree in Art History at the University of Queensland in 2024. Her work has been featured in international publications, including the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. Since her first solo exhibition in 2012, she has exhibited regularly across Australia.
