James Stickland
Graced by Family
oil on poly cotton
Jessica LeClerc fought back from a coma. When you are made vulnerable, the important perceived matters in life soon get brought back to perspective. What was the most important thing in life at this very moment? Family, the presence, the touch, the knowing of loved ones by your side. The lace represents this touch of family, the feeling of being loved and aided by mere presence and to emphasise this, if you look closely you will see the weaved word of "family" into it.
Size: 60 × 60 cm
