Tsering Tenzin Sherpa
In reminiscence of home

Acrylic

Being a Tibetan born in Nepal and from the Sherpa family i always loved our snow covered mountains and the sheer presence they always have. In a way a guardian of our Himalayan villages. I could never get tired looking at them. They are a big part of our lives and the sherpa identity. Now that I'm here while journeying through of my life I miss my land. The frist image that comes in my mind is the mountains. My eyes keep searching for them in the distance but can't find a single one here. Therefore, I've painted this piece, Mount Makalu in
remembrance of home and who I am.

About Tsering Tenzin Sherpa

I'm Tsering Tenzin Sherpa, 25 years old male and currently based in New Farm, Brisbane. I'm originally from the Himalayas of Nepal. I have been involved in drawing and painting since my childhood so I completed my 2 years of formal fine arts studies back in Nepal but couldn't continue further due to unfortunate events but I've continued my practice.
