Petra Daecke
I endeavour to communicate not only the visual rhythms and patterns of a place,
but more importantly a feeling or spiritual atmosphere, always aiming to inspire people to reconnect to nature and its life-giving quality.
My favourite medium is pastel with its vibrancy of colours and possibilities of textures and I love oils for their versatility and rich glow.
I was born and raised in Germany and live now on the Gold Coast in Australia since 1988.
Spending time in the Nature allows me to reflect, restores my energy and brings peace and wisdom through opening my senses to my surroundings.
The impact of paintings can be immediate and lasting; it is a universal language that speaks to all people with layers of meaning.
Size: 64 × 64 cm
