Inessa Ivascanin
Reaching into the blue
acrylic and gloss on stretched canvas
I find formations of palm tree branches and leaves quite interesting when they’re green or sun dried and shaken in the wind in all different directions. They get bright vibrant colours against the background of the blue sky into which they’re outstretched .
Working on this painting created that relaxed mood, imagining being in tropics and listening to the soft breeze, that sways the tree branches around.
Transparency of blues add to the feel of the sunshine in this artwork.
Size: 56 × 56 cm

About Inessa Ivascanin
My name is Inessa Ivascanin-a lifelong artist whose journey began with crayons on walls – much to the amusement of my parents who surprisingly didn't mind the imaginary murals.
This early creative spark ignited a passion that led me to pursue formal training at art school, where I honed my skills and picked up a few techniques that would become the backbone of my artistic career.
Later I embarked on a path creating my own art and teaching others.
My work has been shown both locally and internationally, with exhibitions that capture the essence of surreal perspective and magical realism.
