Ready to Swim
oil on canvas
These ripples feel like breath, and the water holds quiet secrets in its shining surface. The lake is calm and alive, humming with memory, while trees lean in like quiet watchers. Blue stillness melts into warm light at the shore, as if the world is gently reaching for comfort. The painting asks us to listen to what lies beneath the surface, to the space between light and shadow, to the quiet stillness, and the soft reminder that beauty appears when time slows.
