Inspired by the wild coastal Red Cliffs of the Northern Rivers, 'Red Cliffs Reconstructed' pulls the landscape from the earth and thrusts it into a void of clouds and space. This act of isolating the landscape from its anchoring roots, hopefully, encourages the viewer to ponder the fragility of our ever-changing planet we call home. A lone homestead dwelling, ordinarily in a tranquil setting, now drifts in a compromised and unfamiliar environment.
