Sunday Sessions at Kirra

Acrylic paint on stretched canvas

"Sunday sessions at Kirra" captures the essence of the vibrant and carefree days of the 80s on the Gold Coast. The iconic Kirra Pizza Hut and vintage Holden SANDMAN vans evoke a sense of nostalgia for a time gone by. The bright colours and cheerful imagery reflect the joy and excitement of growing up on the Gold Coast in the 70s and 80s. Through my art, I aim to transport the viewer to a time of surf culture and endless summers, inspiring fond memories of days spent by the beach at the most iconic Pizza Hut in Australia.
